Central High Museum and Visitor Center Little Rock is home to a 1957 landmark occurrance in the desegragation of public education in Arkansas, as well as the nation. This museum, situated across from the high school, chronciles the emotional, sometimes violent, time period when 9 black students were escorted by 1,000 members of the 101st Airborne Division to begin classes amongst white students.
