    Historic Arkansas Museum

    Experience antebellum Arkansas through live history presentations as well as exhibits and special events. Tours will encounter actors depicting the original residents of five pre-Civil War houses. Visitors may take a hands-on approach to fully appreciate life in early 19th century Arkansas by helping to churn butter or perform other tasks. Mechanical, decorative, and fine art from Arkansas are also on display in the museum.

    Arkansas Arts Center

    The Arkansas Arts Center is one of the largest cultural centers in the state, with the focus on visual and performing arts. Components of the center include the Arkansas Museum of Art, the Museum School, the Decorative Arts Museum, the Children's Theatre, and State Services. Special events and exhibitions occur on a regular basis. Tours are available and are between 30 - 45 minutes in duration.
