This museum, denoted a National Landmark, presents many aspects of Arkansas history, with an emphasis on women's history and political developments. A grand collection of Civil War battle flags, African-American quilts, gowns from First Ladies, and pottery are also on display.

The Museum of Discovery contains over 14,000 artifacts, classified by their relation to life and earth sciences or anthropology and history. Items related to Arkansas are the primary focus, however cultures and people from all over the world are represented.

Experience antebellum Arkansas through live history presentations as well as exhibits and special events. Tours will encounter actors depicting the original residents of five pre-Civil War houses. Visitors may take a hands-on approach to fully appreciate life in early 19th century Arkansas by helping to churn butter or perform other tasks. Mechanical, decorative, and fine art from Arkansas are also on display in the museum.

The Arkansas Arts Center is one of the largest cultural centers in the state, with the focus on visual and performing arts. Components of the center include the Arkansas Museum of Art, the Museum School, the Decorative Arts Museum, the Children's Theatre, and State Services. Special events and exhibitions occur on a regular basis. Tours are available and are between 30 - 45 minutes in duration.

The official Presidential records, audiovisual materials and artifacts of the Clinton Administration are preserved and made available at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum. A variety of exhibits, special events and educational programs are offered by the museum, as well as a timeline charting foreign and domestic policy.
